My stay at the hotel was a mixed bag. The atmosphere was more welcoming outside than inside, with a dark and smoky interior that didn't work for my family. While the location near the Historic Railway Track offered great views and walks, the room's musty odor and outdated furnishings were disappointing. Service was hit or miss, with some staff being helpful and others not responding to issues appropriately.
My stay was very disappointing overall. I was excited to escape the busy city, but the poor customer service and room conditions really put a damper on things. The restaurant was closed earlier than advertised, and I had a hard time finding decent food options. On the brighter side, the room was spacious, but the cleanliness and decor left much to be desired. I can’t recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a pleasant stay.
My stay at the Hoover Dam Lodge was quite enjoyable, with large and clean rooms that offered breathtaking views of Lake Mead and the surrounding mountains. The location was perfect for visiting the Hoover Dam and close to various activities. However, the dining service could use improvement as there were some missteps during breakfast. Overall, it was a pleasant and affordable experience, especially being able to enjoy the quiet atmosphere away from the bustle of Vegas.
The Hoover Dam Lodge surprised us with its relaxed vibe and affordability. Our room had beautiful views, and the dining experience was enjoyable with reasonable prices. However, we had a frustrating check-in experience due to an overbooking issue, and customer service didn't meet our expectations, which put a damper on our stay.
